What does it do?The service offers:- A home visit to discuss any repairs and maintenance problems, including heating and security. - An offer to arrange for up to £1,000 worth of work to carried out for repairs. - Provision of information on Home Maintenance work to avert future repair problems. - Advice on welfare benefits and services from Care and Repair, other statutory and non-statutory agencies in the city, and referrals for other services where appropriate.

Who it is for:

Homeowners over 60 who are in receipt of Council Tax Benefit, and homeowners under 60 if they receive both Disabled Living Allowance and Council Tax Benefit.

Our advice and information service available in Urdu, Punjabi and Bengali.
