Who it is for: For people aged 50 and over, in and around the Eastbourne area | Where it is available: Local service covering: Eastbourne (East Sussex). | What it costs: Free service | How to access or apply for it: Our service is available 3 days a week, between 9.30 – 1.00, at different locations within the Town. Additionally, there are various services at the Venton Centre available ie Financial, Legal, Will Writing, Pensions, Council Tax , Housing Benefit & Tax Advice with a booking facility, on different days and times of the month.
We have volunteers who visit clients in their own homes if they are unable to access our Outreach sessions or the Venton Centre | What to expect then: Our Outreach Co-ordinator can be reached via AGE Concern, Eastbourne on 01323 638 474 or Nationally via 0800 377 7070 Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm
Calls may be monitored or recorded. Calls from mobiles may be charged
Clients can be seen face to face in the Venton Centre or, if unable to access this location, can receive a visit in their own homes, or just a phone call. | Additional information: FirstStop in Eastbourne is a joint initiative by AGE Concern, Eastbourne and the FirstStop national service, working with Eastbourne Homes to improve Housing Options and access to advice and information for people aged 50 and over, in Eastbourne.
