Ethnic / cultural aspects: The service works in conjunction with Goodwin’s Community Integration team, Danny’s Dream and the Hull Community Wardens to provide an inclusive service to ethnic, cultural and other groups. |
Where it is available: Local service covering: East Riding of Yorkshire, Kingston upon Hull (East Riding of Yorkshire). |
What it costs: The initial information /advice / referral service is free and supported financially by DCLG via FirstStop Advice. Costs for other parts of the service (such as the practical assistance when moving home) will be individually quoted for each client.
Where criteria are met, funding may be available via the Royal British Legion for serving or ex-service personnel. |

What to expect then: The service offers informal friendly advice tailored to each individual’s situation and needs. Support through all stages is provided by a dedicated team member who will be the client’s main point of contact
